Park City is located 30 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. Park City is off of Interstate 80 so in the worst of winter storms the roads to access Park City are maintained and cleared of snow.
There are multiple ways to travel from the airport to Park City. Personal Car, Public Transportation, Taxi, Shared Shuttle. We recommend using Park City Transportation if you are not renting a car. They can schedule everything from a luxury sedan to a shared van. The shared van service drops you at the front door.
SLC has many car rental agencies. We would recommend a 4WD vehicle if you are planning to travel outside of Park City specifically to Big/Little Cottonwood Canyons. The mountain road is closed to all cars except 4WD & cars with Snow Chains in the winter months.
